though I had only met Bob once, I knew the love that he and Cheryl had was a once in a lifetime love and that it can not be replaced.  I do know that Cherly is stronger than she thinks and that the love she has for Bob will get her through the best of times and the worst of times as I know that he is looking out for her.....he IS her guardian angel......Brad

Bob,

You will be well missed by your friends at Deerwood.  We always enjoyed your company and many laughs.  Thanks for providing us with some wonderful years of golf and fun.  It was great to have had the chance to play with you.  Please rest in God's hands now and watch over us.  Look down on us and your family as we will always look up to you.
Love, Tom and the Varsity at Deerwood

Bob,
Tall Bob and I will miss you always and forever!! We have so many fond memories of the times we spent together just the 4 of us or with "The Click". The only good thing about adopting Kirsten was it gave us the opportunity to meet you and Cheryl. We love you Bob and we promise we will always be there for Cheryl and Diamond!

Bob, I thought about calling you Tuesday night, but thought that it was too late  to call (as you're 3 hours later than CA). If we had talked I would have told you how proud we all were of how brave you've been through all this. I'm so glad that you were surrounded by so much family love and so many wonderful friends. Say hi to your mom and mine too!!! Love, Your cousin Judy

Bob,

Your in a better place now. I am really glad we reconnected, but sad that it was under these circumstances. We did get to spend some quality time together and I am glad we were able to golf and go to a Sabres game together. I really appreciated you helping out with the ice cream truck and helping out Laura and TJ. We all miss you so much already. Say hi to Mom for us, we miss her too. Someday maybe they will find a cure for all cancers. Take care Bro, and even though I never told you I love you enough, you know I do.

Hi Bob,

I was looking at your brother's ice cream site and saw the link to send you a message. Great pictures of you and your family! I hope you are feeling well and I'm sure I'll see you at Gilda's soon. Thanks for info on the ice cream, I sent it to our VBS director and she will probably be contacting your brother soon.

Bob,
I went to your benefit and the only thing I can say is that it's too bad you didn't have a few more friends. Maybe if you were more outgoing or friendly you would have had a better turnout with more than the 500-1000 people that showed up.

Seriously though, I hope you continue to gain strength, weight, and good health, and then maybe you can make more friends. Hang in there Bobby!!
You're in my thoughts and prayers,
Tom Mayers

Bob,
We just wanted to tell you that you and your family are in our prayers.   You had a wonderful turnout at your fundraiser--you are very lucky to have so many wonderful friends and family that love you and care for you.  It is so easy to take our health for granted. Unfortunately, only when it is altered that we then realize how good we had it.  With my brother, Joe Sleap battling colon cancer, our whole family lives each day to the fullest.
Hope you are feeling well.  Glad to hear that you are putting weight on and getting out and about.
Keep your spirits up and know that we are praying for you and your family through all of this.  May you feel God's arms around you and comfort you when it seems unbearable and know that our Lord God is always there for us.
Love,
mary sleap moreland

Bob,

Here's to Ying's & Budway's! Have another doughnut and slice of Pizza. Keep putting that weight back on. Sorry it took so long to put the pictures up on this site. Enjoyed your company last Saturday night and we were glad you, Cheryl, and Diamond Girl could see Laura's Hockey game and my antics towards the officials.

Bill

Bob, I'm not sure that our message went with our donation. We'll all be thinking about you tomorrow.
